ESOL Learners Build Confidence for Work with Get That Job Course

Our recent ESOL Get That Job course has been helping learners develop the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to take positive steps towards employment.

Throughout the course, learners improved their English for the workplace while gaining practical job-search skills. Topics included searching for jobs online, understanding job adverts, completing application forms, creating or updating CVs, and preparing for interviews.

Learners also had the opportunity to practise answering interview questions, discuss their skills and experience, develop positive communication techniques, and learn how to make a great impression with employers.

The course was designed to support learners in building confidence and preparing for the next stage of their employment journey while continuing to improve their English language skills.
