Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds

Cancelling Your Course

Information on cancelling, transferring and refunds for your course

Refunds are not possible, once you have started your course, if you change your mind or personal circumstances prevent you from continuing with the course you will need to pay any unpaid course fees. Alternatively, you can arrange a transfer to another available course (subject to a transfer fee). You can claim a refund if you withdraw from your course before it has started and the college is notified 7 days before the scheduled start date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about cancelling, transferring and refunding your course

I wish to transfer to a different course?
The first transfer is free thereafter you will be charged £15 each time. Any additional course fee due is payable and must be made at the point of transfer.
Why are courses cancelled?
Courses need to reach a certain size to meet Employment & Skills Funding Agency standards and it is therefore important that you enrol as early as possible to help ensure that your course will run. If we close a course before or after it has started, we will offer a refund or a transfer.
My course has not recruited - what now?
We wait as long as possible before we decide to withdraw a class. At that time we will either merge classes or offer a suitable alternative. If this is not possible and we have to withdraw the course, a full fee refund will be made. Where demand exceeds places, we will try to offer additional courses.
