The Adult Study Programme at Thurrock Adult Community College will help you achieve your qualifications, alongside developing key employability and life skills to help springboard you into the world of work or on to further higher-level study.
Once you enrol on a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification here, you will also be able to select a personalised study program that is tailored to your own specific needs.
It will include Maths, English and Digital skills for those that need them and a tutorial session that will help you to build essential skills like communication and teamwork. This tutorial strand also includes personal development, careers planning and access to academic and pastoral support from a personal tutor.
Our Level 2 and Level 3 vocational courses include:
- Business
- IT
- Childcare
- Counselling
- Learning Support Assistant
- Education and Training
- Bookkeeping and Accounting
- Apprenticeships in Customer Service and Business Administration.
You can also access a study program if you are enrolled on any of our English or Maths qualification courses at Level 2.
Sessions have been timetabled specifically so that they can be combined together into an easy-to-manage schedule, with most classes generally run on Wednesday and Thursdays. There may also be some evening options available.
