Appointments can either be face-to-face (at South Essex College or one of our community hubs) or virtual on TEAMS.
Gaining a free qualification could help you on the path to a well-paid, new job
If you’re 24 and over, live in England and don’t yet have a Level 3 qualification, which is equivalent to qualifications such as A levels, an advanced technical certificate or diploma, or a qualification at a higher level, taking a free course as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee could give you the skills to get into a better job. If you are aged 19-23 you can also access free advanced level courses.
There are almost 400 courses on offer in a range of different sectors, from construction, manufacturing and agriculture, to digital, ICT, health and social care. All the courses available have been identified to help ensure good job prospects, so you can feel secure knowing the new skills you learn are skills employers are looking for.
