Maths is an essential skill for both life and work – It can open the door to a range of careers. At TACC we offer maths courses at a range of levels to suit everyone’s needs and abilities, from Functional Skills qualifications (Beginners to Level 2) to GCSE qualifications. All maths (including GCSE) courses are free (subject to eligibility).
All our courses are part-time and run over a duration of up to 17 weeks. New courses start in September and February, but you can enrol at any time throughout the year. The start and end times are school-friendly enabling you to drop off or pick up children and evening classes are available.
Studying maths offers a wide range of benefits, both practical and intellectual. Here are some of the key advantages;
Maths teaches you how to approach complex problems systematically and logically, breaking them down into manageable parts.
Maths is used in daily life for budgeting, cooking, home repairs, shopping, and other everyday tasks.

Having a maths qualification will allow you to progress to further study such as a university.
