Wraparound Support


You are entitled to advice, guidance, help with your studies and independent learning and support with planning your future direction.

If you are a learner who requires support, please let us know when you enrol or by emailing the team.

Already enrolled? Discuss your support needs with your tutor or the Learning Guidance and Support team. Alternatively, complete the support referral form (available in the learner guide).

Academic study support with a course tutor

We want you to get the most out of your course and will aim to support your learning to help you achieve your learning goals.

Assistive equipment and mobility support

Enhanced facilities for those with impaired vision or hearing. Wheelchair accessible classrooms/desks. Please let us know if you need assistance to leave the building in an emergency.

Support for learning difficulties

Dyslexia screening and specialist resources to help you learn. If you have concerns about dyslexia and how it might affect your learning, please get in touch.

Exam access arrangements

We can provide additional arrangements to assist you when taking exams.

Help with study skills, both in class and coursework at home

On-course support for developing your study skills from a course tutor or a learning support assistant in-class.

Employability support, careers advice and guidance

Drop-in surgeries where you can get tailored advice with CVs, employment, work opportunities and career progression.

Welfare support and information

Access to drop-in pastoral support and digital guide, signposting to local and national services.

English, maths and IT skills workshops

Free drop-in sessions for learners in our Learning and Development Hub. Book a skills check. Free digital skills training.

Confidence and Wellbeing

We offer a host of free courses to improve your confidence, self-esteem, physical and mental wellbeing, to help you move forward with your next step or individual goals.
